This is combined with five computer polls: Billingsley, Claasen, Congrove, Massey and Howell. Only polls that start at the beginning of the season and do not combine I-A with I-AA are used. Once the season starts, the TSR system kicks in using WIN, OPPONENTS and OPPONENT'S OPPONENTS points along with three SCORING categories: MARGIN, OFFENSIVE and DEFENSIVE scoring. The three vote-polls are weighted evenly against the computer polls. The three WIN-point categories and three SCORING categories follow in that order.

Final Conference Rankings Through Games of Jan. 7, 2010

The conference ranking's totals involve only the WIN-Point categories (Win, Opponent and Opponent's Opponents), the SCORING (offense, defense and margin) and points from average ranking. Totals are then divided by number of teams within the conference.

PRG=Power Rating (combines all three WIN-Point and SCORING categories); SOS=Strength of Schedule (the three WIN-Point categories only); SCORE is a Scoring Differential, which adds SCORING MARGIN with OFFENSIVE SCORING minus DEFENSIVE SCORING; AR=Average Rank. C/V is computer and vote total combined. PR=Power Rank. This is the average of all team's games against opponents in: wins, losses, the rank at the time the game was played, end rank and the overall rank.
